Ian has developed a career in logistics practice, consulting, project planning and education. He has lectured at RMIT Melbourne and Edith Curtin University in Perth. He is actively engaged in vocational education across the logistics and supply chain industry and has consulted with over 150 organisations, including the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games. His breadth of experience covers road and rail transport, automotive, aeronautics, manufacturing food, fashion, engineering, warehousing, and distribution.

Ian is passionate about the logistics industry and consults, teaches and supports new and established participants across the industry. Throughout his career, he has always sought and developed opportunities for continual engagement between education and industry, for the improvement of both sectors. Ian has held direct engagements running logistics seminars for the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Australia (CILTA) and the Supply Chain Logistics Association (SCLAA).
