Michael French

Michael is a Principal at AcademyGlobal with extensive experience as a procurement and supply chain facilitator, lecturer and consultant across various government, academic and commercial organisations. With over 40 years’ experience, Michael is a Chartered Accountant who worked in private practise before venturing into other industries. He has been in executive supply chain roles focused on integrating demand and supply to ensure customer requirements are achieved with high service levels and at minimal cost.

Michael lectures at Masters level at Western Sydney University and is a guest lecturer on the UTS Advanced Diploma of Procurement and Contracting. In his commercial roles, he has used his project management skills to develop and implement new business processes and systems to the supply chain. He has also project managed a large number of outsourcing projects, including sourcing, warehousing and transport.

With a Commerce degree majoring in Accounting, Michael’s areas of expertise include procurement, supply chain management, project management, contract management and financial management. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and Member of the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA).
