Engagement and Retention of Procurement Staff
The Australasian Procurement & Construction Council (APCC) recognises the importance of engaging and retaining procurement staff within the public sector.
The current state of the labour market means skilled workers across a vast array of professions are highly sought after and the procurement sector is no exception.
With the current Australian labour market having the lowest unemployment rate since the mid 1970s, the power balance has shifted from employer to employee as labour demand is largely outstripping supply.
The APCC has developed an “Engagement and Retention of your Procurement Staff” flyer which has been endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).
